NEAL PURCHASE JR. QUARTET QUAD

  The Neal Purchase Jr. Quartet is a sturdy fiberglass board that's part of our exclusive Limited La Especial Collection. It was designed by NPJ to provide maximum speed and control. He was inspired by his experience riding 70s twin fins and added two stabilizers to create a quad. With minor modifications, such as shaving off a quarter inch from the base and positioning the back fins in a tight cluster, he improved the twin fin template. The back fins are placed 10 1/2 and 6 1/4 inches from the tail, with a 1/4 inch distance from the rail. As a result, this design delivers impressive speed and stability while maintaining tight turns.
